There's actually a funny story behind that LLC name^
I started my marketing business in college -- went a few years without a proper LLC.... ha! Classic... but even though I already had clients, I was stuck in my Economics degree, not just bored out of my mind but distracted from pursuing my passion of marketing and entrepreneurship!
So I called my Dad, who was working his ass off to pay for his son to attend college, and I said, "Dad... why the heck am I spending all this time studying for economics exams when I already have clients! That's why people go to college-- to make money, and I'm doing that!!!!.......... I want to drop out."
*Long pause....*
*A deep exhale from pops*
*Me biting my lip with a bead of sweat going down my face*
He said, "Well... tough luck, I pay the bills, and you gotta pay attention."
SHIT!
At first I thought this was a death sentence-- "Why would he imprison me to these STUPID classes?" I thought.
But in reality, there was a life-long lesson I learned during that time:
"YOU CAN GO FAST BY YOURSELF, BUT YOU CAN GO FURTHER WITH OTHERS." --Ancient Proverb
Right after this call with my Dad, I was contacted by my buddy who worked for RedBull... You know, the epic business who has one of the most famous brands of all time. And my buddy said, "Max, I've been watching you create content for people... and I want you to create content for us. We have a big event coming up
in Jacksonville, FL where we need a huge marketing push. Can you help?"
I almost fainted...
"Yes," I said with a gulp of nervousness...
After he explained details of the event, I realized I couldn't handle this epic opportunity with my academic commitment, so I hired a few people... my first content team (see photo).
And it was through that event I realized:
Even though I'm really good at creating content by myself, I'm really GREAT at leading other creatives; thus...
Maxwell Muller & BAMF's, LLC was born.
And yes,
BAMF's stands for Bad-Ass Mother Fuckers, because the creatives I work with truly are Bad-Ass MoFo's.
And this change allowed me to go from being a one-man-band to scaling my impact across hundreds of businesses, which is actually the best option for these busineses because they don't just get some random freelancer who kinda, sorta, sometimes works on their brand...
